Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

This Privacy Policy explains how Royal Reels Guide (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles personal information when you visit royalreels-guide.com (the “Site”). The Site is an independent informational resource about the Royal Reels online casino for players in Australia. It is not the official Royal Reels website and does not provide gambling services, player accounts or payment processing.

For any question about this policy or your data, write to [email protected].

2. Scope of This Policy

This policy covers the Site, its contact form and any email correspondence with our team. It does not cover the Royal Reels casino itself. When you follow a link from the Site and register at Royal Reels, the casino operator, Digibrite SRL, becomes responsible for the data you give it, including identity documents, payment details and gaming history. That processing is governed by the Royal Reels privacy policy and terms, which you accept at sign-up.

We follow the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). For visitors from the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, we also apply the rights set out in the GDPR and UK GDPR, described in section 9.

3. Personal Information We Collect

The Site has no registration and no player accounts, so we collect only a small amount of information:

  • Contact data you send through the contact form or by email: your name, email address, the subject and the content of your message;
  • Technical data recorded automatically: IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, language settings, referring page and the date and time of your visit;
  • Usage data: pages viewed, time on page, clicks on buttons and outbound links, and the general region you browse from;
  • Cookie data: identifiers stored by cookies and similar technologies, described in section 10.

We never ask for or store passwords, identity documents, bank card numbers, crypto wallet keys or any casino account details. If someone asks you for such information on behalf of the Site, it is not us. Our Anti-Fraud Policy explains how to report it.

4. How We Collect It

We receive information directly from you when you contact us. Technical and usage data come from server logs, analytics tools and cookies when you browse the Site. When you click a button that leads to Royal Reels, a tracking reference is attached to the link so that the visit can be attributed to the Site. That reference does not contain your name or contact details.

5. Why We Use Your Information

We use personal information only for clear purposes:

  • to reply to your messages, complaints and requests;
  • to run, secure and fix the Site, including protection against spam, bots and abuse;
  • to understand which pages are useful and keep information about Royal Reels bonuses, payments and access accurate;
  • to measure visits referred to Royal Reels through the Site’s links;
  • to meet legal obligations and to protect our rights if a dispute arises.

We do not use your information to make automated decisions that have a legal or similarly significant effect on you. We do not send marketing emails, and we do not sell personal information.

6. Sharing and Disclosure

We share information only where it is needed for the purposes above:

  • hosting, security and email providers that keep the Site online and deliver our correspondence;
  • analytics providers that give us aggregated statistics about visits;
  • affiliate tracking partners, including the Royal Reels affiliate programme, which receive the click reference described in section 4;
  • professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants, under confidentiality duties;
  • law enforcement, courts or regulators where the law requires it or where it is necessary to prevent fraud or protect someone’s safety.

Each provider may use the information only on our instructions and must keep it secure.

7. Overseas Transfers

Some of our service providers store or process data outside Australia, for example in the European Union or the United States. Before any transfer, we take reasonable steps under Australian Privacy Principle 8 to make sure the recipient protects the information to a standard comparable with Australian law. For EEA and UK visitors, transfers rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. How Long We Keep Information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it:

  • contact form messages and email correspondence: up to 24 months after the last message, unless a complaint or legal claim requires longer;
  • server and security logs: up to 12 months;
  • analytics data: up to 26 months, then deleted or fully anonymised;
  • affiliate click references: for the period required by the affiliate agreement, and no longer than 24 months.

When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it permanently anonymous.

9. Your Rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you may ask for access to the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. You can also make a privacy complaint.

If you are in the EEA or the UK, you also have the right to:

  • ask for erasure of your data;
  • restrict or object to processing based on legitimate interests;
  • receive your data in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on consent;
  • lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Send any request to [email protected]. We reply within 30 days and may ask you to confirm your identity first. Requests are free of charge.

If you are not satisfied with our reply, Australian residents can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

10. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small text files that your browser stores when you visit a website. The Site uses:

  • strictly necessary cookies, which keep the Site working and secure and remember your cookie choices;
  • analytics cookies, which count visits and show how pages are used;
  • affiliate cookies, which record that you reached Royal Reels through a link on the Site.

Analytics and affiliate cookies are set only with your consent where the law requires it. You can change your choice through the cookie banner or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking necessary cookies may affect how parts of the Site work.

11. Security

We protect information with HTTPS encryption across the Site, restricted access for team members who need it, secure hosting and regular software updates. No online service can guarantee complete security, but we review our measures regularly. If a data breach is likely to cause serious harm, we notify affected people and the OAIC as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

12. Age Restriction

The Site is intended only for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent us personal information, contact [email protected] and we will delete it.

13. Responsible Gambling

Gambling should stay a form of entertainment, never a way to earn money. If gambling stops feeling like fun, visit our Responsible Gaming page or call Gambling Help Online on 1800 858 858, available 24/7.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when the Site, our providers or the law change. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the current version. Significant changes are announced on the Site before they take effect.
